Is it O.K. to weight train your child?  I see it all the time in the gym.  I seen it when I lived in Wisconsin, and I see it here in Utah.  Parents bringing their kids to the gym and having them lifting weights.  We aren't talking about 15+ year old kids either.  I'm talking about 8-12 year olds. When it comes to going to the gym, everyone knows you are going to see attractive people.  But is it OK to try and get yourself a date with someone who is trying to work out?  I had a friend (female) tell me, that they would rather be hit on at the gym, rather than at the bar.  Their reasoning; because at least you know they are attracted to you when you are not dressed up and wearing limited to no make up.  Or inebriated I would add.  But do you really want to be bothered when you're are trying...

We've all seen them.  We have all had to deal with it, the ab checker at the gym.  The person who needs to check their abs whenever they walk by a mirror at the gym.  After every set of crunches they have to lift their shirt to see the progress (like there is going to be any from the last set you did).  I am in no way against making gains, but I really feel like their is a time and a place.  Now I know all gyms seem to have perfect lighting and a million mirrors to capture all...
